First Aid Practise

Last week, the St. John ambulance team provided a first aid session to the year 12 students in sixth form. This included a session on Choking which provided awareness on the symptoms of choking, items you could choke on and how to react and respond to different types of people that may be choking. Students were able to participate and practise on peers and this allowed for them to experience a response to a medical emergency.
