Molly Mooney, one of our Year 13 Student Management Team, has worked with Mr Raynerd (Assistant Head) to coordinate a mentoring programme between Sixth Formers and Year 11 students.
The Year 11 students were nominated by departments for some individual help in a specific subject, our Sixth Form specialists have offered their time on a Monday after school to work one-on-one or in small groups with the Year 11 students.
With an initial focus on English, Maths and the sciences, the Sixth Formers are not only sharing their specialist subject knowledge, but also their top tips for tackling exam questions, planning essays and managing revision. With packs of questions provided from the various departments in school, the first session this evening was a hive of activity for the Year 11s as well as their mentors.
